Q: What does x2o stand for?
A: Excel to Oracle. This is the foundation of all x2o products.
Q: What are the system requirements for x2o software?
A: x2o is compatible with Oracle 9i databases, Oracle 11i Applications, Windows XP and Office XP/2002 or later versions.
Q: How much does x2o cost?
A: x2o is significantly cheaper than employing a Technical Consultant for your data migration project. Please Contact Us for all quotations or to discuss your requirements.
Q: Can I use x2o software outside of the UK?
A: x2o software is for UK companies only, because Oracle HRMS modules are country specific due to legislation. If you're interested in using x2o software outside of the UK please Contact Us.
Q: What is the SID?
A: A SID uniquely identifies an instance and is 64 characters, or less. The SID defaults to the database name.
Q: Why do you need the SID for the x2o evaluation copy?
A: The SID is required to publish a licence key to allow the user to connect the x2o spreadsheets to their chosen database. Each evaluation copy can have up to 3 licence keys for the production, test & development environments.
Q: Does x2o software only service the HRMS module within Oracle E-Business Suite?
A: x2o HR Pro is the first suite to be released. Development plans for 2008 included other E-business Suite modules. Please Contact Us for more information on the x2o development path.
